Haverfordwest County are looking good at this early stage, as are Llandudno and both clubs look likely to have their Domestic License renewed so there may be some new faces in the WPL next season. It would not be much of a surprise to see the status quo spared relegation this season and a phased return to a 16 club premier league in line with much of the rest of UEFA and to spare the league the potential loss of its best supported club with Bangor City struggling to find any sort of form so far.
Further down Holywell Town have built on their success in last season's Welsh Cup to win their opening nine league games in the Lockstock Welsh Alliance.

Some interesting pointers in the Welsh Cup today with Haverfordwest at Airbus, TNS at Caernarfon in Sunday's live TV game (S4C, ko 12.45) and further down the pyramid, Holywell Town at Buckley.
Undy Athletic will try to undo Carmarthen, while FC Nomads and Garden Village look to spring surprises at Newtown and Bangor. Nomads' task looks the sterner at a club three tiers above them but any upset at Nantporth is likely to precipitate some considerable discontent.
GAP Connah's Quay and Prestatyn look capable of avoiding a couple of potential upsets and these are the games that may come to provide a good yardstick for the depth of strength in the Welsh football pyramid with two leading clubs in the Macwhirter Welsh League facing sides currently struggling in the Welsh Premier League.
First results are expected from around 4.15pm.
In the Alliance, Llandudno can open up a six point lead with victory at third placed Denbigh whilst a reverse will provide an opportunity for second placed Guilsfield to join Dudno on 32 points by overcoming struggling Rhayadr in their mid Wales derby.
